2. Egg and Olive Oil Hair Mask

What You Need:

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons pure olive oil


First, crack two eggs in a small bowl and whip them up. Next, add up two tablespoons pure olive oil mixture then combine. Apply it to your strands and let the hair mask solution sit for 20 minutes before shampooing.

3. Yogurt And Honey Hair Mask

What You Need:

  • ½ cup full-fat, plain yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar


Mix all ingredients. The application should start from the scalp down to the ends of the hair. Put on a clean shower cap and leave it on for 15 minutes before washing.

4. Coconut Oil Hair Mask

What You Need:

  • 1 avocado (w/ the seed)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 drops of any essential oil


Mash the avocado until you achieve a paste-like consistency. After mashing, mix other liquid ingredients thoroughly. Before application, damp hair first with water, then apply the mixture. Gently massage your scalp. Next, cover with a clean shower cap and leave it on for 45 minutes. Rinse.

5. Honey and Lemon Hair Mask

What You Need:

  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 cup water


Combine the three ingredients in a bowl. Gently massage the mixture into the scalp and hair for two minutes. Let it sit for ten minutes. After that, rinse hair with lukewarm water and shampoo.

  • 2 coconuts

Pulverize your coconut, then add the water. Get the milk by squishing the mixture. Apply it on your hair and let it sit for 45 minutes. For best results, leave the mixture on overnight. Wash with shampoo in the morning.

Note:Repeat the procedure twice a week for a smoother and shinier hair.

Important Reminders

  • Do not attempt to wash with hot water. As mentioned above, heat can cause hair cuticles to open and invite more moisture. As a result, your hair may become kinky and frizzy. Use water that’s either cool or lukewarm.
  • Avoid using heat styling tools like hair dryer, hair curler, or hair iron. Again, heat damages the hair cuticles. If it’s a must to blow dry your hair, set it to medium and use a hair diffuser.
  • Avoid using cotton pillows. Cottons absorb all your hair moisture while sleeping. It’s best to invest in some satin pillow covers.
  • Try not to wash with shampoo more than twice or thrice a week. The majority of chemical-based shampoos have sulfates that drain your hair moisture.
  • Stop drying your hair using towels. The friction from it causes the cuticles to open up, making your hair rough and prone to breakage. Use a soft cotton T-shirt instead because it absorbs excess water better, but keeps your strands from becoming frizzy.
