Our hair it's the most important part of our entire look. You see, when you're engaging with someone, what's the first thing a person sees? Our face and it includes our hair, how we look up there.

If you can get the right hairstyle and if you can get your hair under control, you're going to look and feel like a hundred bucks! You’re going to feel unstoppable! Ugh, if only your hair would cooperate all of the time! Sadly, there are bad hair days and getting everything under control can be a big struggle.

This is what we are going to focus on today. I'm going to talk about the seven biggest hair problems or struggles all of us have faced. I’m also going to share with you how to fix them so you can look your best. If that sounds interesting to you, let's hop into it.

Number 1: CUT IT OUT

Does your hair just never come out like the way you wanted it? Somehow, it doesn't matter how many times you talk to your stylist or barber or how many pictures you show them the haircut you like. They just can't make you look like your favorite celebrity! Well, let’s have a serious conversation. It's time it's time to just cut that toxic relationship. Snip snip and find someone new to get the perfect haircut. You probably have a long relationship with your stylist and you feel a sense of loyalty there but if it is not working, you have to let it go. Start trying new salons and hair stylists until you find one that's experienced enough who can deal with your hair type. Also, find one who can even give you honest advice on how to have a hairstyle that suits your face shape.

Dealing with curly and unruly. Do you have wavy, curly or coily locks? I have naturally wavy, fine hair. All my life, it had been a struggle to manage it. What we got to understand though, is the reason why we have unruly hair is because we’re trying to tame or straighten hair that has its own natural pattern. I learned this late in the game.

When you go against its nature you're not only going to add more stress to your busy mornings trying to get ready, but also by midday your hair's just going to look unsettled. Because humidity, and other natural factors like wind, your intended style is now just unruly.

What I would like to suggest is a change of perspective. Let’s embrace your natural locks. Embrace the waves or the straight tresses you have. Use products that will enhance your natural strands. There are products made specifically for curly hair, for instance. What you’d want to do is hydrate the curls so they look healthy, look shiny and your hairstyle looks better.

The best way to do this is applying a leave-in conditionerevery morning and then usea curling cream or foamand then just let it air dry throughout the day. Let it pick up its own volume. Your hair is going to look naturally sexy and you're going to be stress free! You don't have to worry about it ever again.

For a punch of extra sexiness, usea texturizing sprayto give you those easy breezy bohemian waves.

Number 3: Fall Out

Oh my goodness... it is starting to fall out here I'm in panic mode... does that sound familiar? We’re talking code red out of all the problems on this list. This one's the one I'm most terrified of and I’m going to be honest with you, I do not scare easily but this keeps me up at night. Hair fall, hair loss... oh it gives me the shivers!

Now, to beat this problem you have to understand hair loss and this comes from various aspects. It can be due to genetics, stress, hormone imbalances, aging... there's a lot of them that can cause hair loss! However, what we can do now is to fight it early on. We need to use hair care products that will encourage hair growth and give volume to otherwise dull hair.

The one and most effective solution is to use vitamin enriched shampoos and conditioners. Not just any vitamin, though, the best hair vitamin there is:Biotin. If you're able to start revitalizing your hair and catch any signs of hair fall as early as now, you can save most of your hair. This is why you got to stay really aware of this problem. If you start noticing hair loss or you have hair loss in your family, chances are you're going to start to lose your hair gradually but you can do something about it.

Number 4: Heat Damage

How often do you apply heat to your hair? Do you do it more than three times a week? Yes or no? Ok, I know…why does that matter? Applying heat to your hair even more than once a week will cause damage to the hair follicles. If you are fond of hair blow-drying, then you have to consider this. When your hair is wet, it is at its most fragile. This is why a lot of experts always recommend that instead of jumping out of the shower and going in straight with that blow dryer, that brush and all that, take a pause.  Take some time to dry it out. Instead of a regular towel, tie a t-shirt around your hair let it soak up that excess moisture. A cotton shirt would work best. And then at about 80% dryness, start blow drying. It will save you a lot of time, too. What my mom taught me years ago is that your wet hair is like a silk blouse. It is that sensitive. They can stretch and sometimes not go back.

Do you use relaxers or chemical straighteners in your hair? How do these products affect hair growth? They cause damage to hair, too. Chemical relaxers actually straighten the hair by breaking the bonds of the hair, which destroys the integrity of the strands over time. These strip the outer layer and cause the ends to be susceptible to breakage and split ends. It's not a good look at all.

However, for those who cannot survive without using a blow dryer then please make sure to manage the heat. Always take into consideration that our hair deserves extra TLC. It needs to be taken care of. If you’re going to use heat, use some heat protectants that would save your hair from more damage. There are lots in the market but I personally prefer one that also promotes shinier, fuller hair.

Invest in a good blow dryer,  too. It should have a nozzle because it concentrates where the air flow should really go.Nozzles and diffusers also allow your dryer to really minimize the harmful heat. If you notice, some blow dryers have those steel bars on its mouth or those steel grills. Now since it is metal it tends to retain or absorb more heat when the hot air blows through. Without a nozzle, putting that mouth near your hair just means you’re subjecting the strands to more heat. It would end up making your strands so much more frizzy and more prone to breakage as well as split ends.

Number 5: Scalp Issues

Dandruff is usually found on the surface level of our scalp. One of the main causes of this hair issue usually is dry scalp. Now one natural tactic to fight against this dry scalp is to keep our scalp nourished. You see, what we need to do is that every time we step into the shower, we need to grab products withnatural oils and essencesthat are usually used for your moisturizing hair. Then we need to massage that product onto our scalp. Once that's done we can wash it out. Whether it isa shampoo or conditioner, it needs moisturize deeply.

Number 6: Greasy Peasy

Greasy hair is horrible. It looks dirty. It feels disgusting and on top of that, it doesn't allow you to fully style your hair. You see, the oil and the grease that make their way down your hair completely kill all volume and makes your hair look flat. So what you want to do to avoid having this nasty three day old hair, is usea dry shampoo. Dry shampoo comes in both powder or spray form and basically how it works is that the dry shampoo itself cleanses your hair. It removes bad odors and on top of that it absorbs the excess oil to give your hair that matte clean finish that you're looking for on top of that texture. It also helps with volume to freshen up your hair for those non wash days.

Number 7: Ditch the Frizz

This one's very easy to fix. You see, frizzy hair usually occurs when there's a lack of moisture in your air or when the moisture levels are below normal. What ends up happening is that your hair cuticles end up opening up looking for moisture from the outside environment. What you want to do is keep your hair moisturized all day to

ensure that your hair cuticles stay closed and frizziness does not occur. To do that, asoothing serum is the easiest way to combat this. Before you style your hair you want to apply a leave-in conditioner to your hair then put your styling product and then style your hair. This is going to ensure that your hair stays hydrated all day and to eliminate frizziness anywhere you are.
